Luke brings to Musicambia years of experience working with people incarcerated and a background in music. As an attorney, Luke practices criminal defense and civil rights in New York City. As part of his practice, Luke provides public defense for people charged with felonies in Brooklyn, NY, through New York City’s Assigned Counsel Plan. For several years prior, Luke served as a Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Practice.  He received his law degree from City University of New York’s School of Law, where he was the Kyle D. Jewel Juvenile Justice Fellow and a Public Interest Law Association Fellow, and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, where he majored in trombone performance and philosophy.
